GTTI was founded in 1983 to provide Technical and Vocational Education and Training in the Gambia. Over the years, the institute has expanded its programmes to include the Full Technological Certificate (FTC) and Diplomas; from initial and Further Education Teacher Training to Higher Teacher Training and now the bachelor’s degree programme in Community Building and Design (BCBD).
